Congratulations to Deckel & Moneypenny’s Reed Sowder who was just elected as Events Coordinator for the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) Louisville Chapter.
Reed is an Industrial Designer whose concern for user experience, human connection, and storytelling has led her to the field of Experience & Exhibit Design.
She is a graduate of the College of Architecture, Design & Construction at Auburn University and has designed for companies as diverse as Fisher-Price, Design Force, Inc., ASD | SKY, and GE Appliances, a Haier company.
In her current role as Exhibit Designer at Deckel & Moneypenny, she is fulfilling the desire to create meaningful connections with individuals, communities, and the world.
Beyond her career, Reed has a passion for travel, interior design, upcycling, entertaining, and exploring the outdoors.
