We are aggressively seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist who will have varies duties including shipping and receiving shipments, loading/unloading trucks, handling local deliveries and assisting in shop production. Looking for a team player who has a willingness to learn the ever-changing world of exhibit fabrication.

Primary job functions include:

· Responsible for receiving and storage of stock materials & supplies

· Oversees loading & unloading of trade show exhibits

· Meets clients to receive & inventory trade show products & prototypes

· Works with necessary personnel to ensure all client products & prototypes are properly stored, protected and assigned to the appropriate project

· Maintains shipping/receiving docks to be organized, safe & clean

· Assists in repair, construction, maintenance, and other tasks as needed

· Operates shop machinery such as forklifts and manufacturing equipment.

· Assists with shop facility cleaning, organization and making sure facility is free of hazards on daily basis.

· All other duties as assigned.

Required skills:

· One year experience in loading and unloading trucks.

· Able to follow direction and make decisions related to safely loading and unloading items in vehicles.

· Ability to work in high-stress conditions and quickly changing environment.

· Must be able to work overtime during peak periods.

· Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills.

· Communicates clearly and effectively.

· Possesses basic computer skills.

· Operate a 24’ box truck.

· Carpentry skills are a plus.

· Ability to lift 60 pounds

· Overtime required at certain times in the year

    Reed is an Industrial Designer whose concern for user experience, human connection, and storytelling has led her to the field of Experience & Exhibit Design. 

    She is a graduate of the College of Architecture, Design & Construction at Auburn University and has designed for companies as diverse as Fisher-PriceDesign Force, Inc.ASD | SKY, and GE Appliances, a Haier company

    In her current role as Exhibit Designer at Deckel & Moneypenny, she is fulfilling the desire to create meaningful connections with individuals, communities, and the world.  
    Beyond her career, Reed has a passion for travel, interior design, upcycling, entertaining, and exploring the outdoors.

    We are aggressively seeking a cabinet maker/finish carpenter with excellent carpentry skills and a willingness to learn the ever-changing world of exhibit fabrication.

    Primary job functions include:

    Fabricating exhibit components, cabinetry, walls and various structures

    Application of high-pressure laminates and veneers

    Assembly of display parts

    Handling and installation of client products

    • Wrapping, packing, loading and unloading materials deliveries and/or elements for installation

    Installation of fabricated elements & graphics

    Maintaining an organized clean and safe work area

    Required skills:

    Knowledge of materials – hardwoods, sheet goods, veneers,
    laminates and finishes

    Extensive knowledge of stationary and hand-held power tools including table saw, drill press, routers, typical rotary blade/bit tools, nail guns, glues and finishes

    Acrylic fabrication skills desired but not required

    • Proficiency in reading and comprehending drawings

    • Good understanding of basic math

    Ability to lift 60 pounds

    Ability to follow directions and adhere to quality building standards

    A minimum of 3 years’ experience in cabinet making and/or finish carpentry

    Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends (when necessary)
    to deliver projects on deadline

    Ability to travel, if necessary, for set up and dismantle at an event

    Effective communication skills both verbal and written

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

      Job responsibilities:

      • Supervise on-site trade show exhibit set-up/tear-down at locations across the US
      • Read & follow detailed set-up drawings
      • Communicate with clients, co-workers & vendors at show site to resolve issues
      • Assist production staff when not traveling

      Job requirements:

      • Must be able to travel approximately 10 weeks out of the year
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Computer skills

      Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent.
