Gearing up for the busy fall season when the sawdust will really be flying! It is the makers, like veteran D&M carpenter Brian Likens, who transform a vision into a reality. Whether in the shop or on the show floor, meticulous attention to detail allows to exceed client expectations and deliver memorable experiences.https://www.instagram.com/p/CjYkbdhPlc2/
This gorgeous new exhibit for Louisville Tourism was over two years in the making, and we are so excited to see it make its debut at the recent Center for Association Leadership meeting in Nashville! Or course all the hard work in planning, design, and production would be for naught without flawless on-site execution delivered D&M veteran Steve Goodin. Thanks to Louisville Tourism for sharing these kind words:
“…Steve is amazing. I don’t think we have ever been more taken care of. He was kind, helpful, resourceful, and just an all around great guy.” Lauren Johnson, CEMhttps://www.instagram.com/p/Ch2irF9PDfC/
After 21 years at D&M, Bobbie Gardner has retired from our Accounting Department. She has been an integral part of the team, performing a host of accounting and clerical functions including everyone’s favorite: making sure we all get paid! Bobbie was also the proud steward of the annual tradition of selecting signature D&M holiday ornaments. We will all miss her smiling face, but happy that she is embarking on a new adventure, and can spend more time with her recently retired husband Robbie.
Today we bid farewell to Paul Buechler as he finishes his summer #internship with D&M and returns to the University of Kentucky to continue his studies in Marketing & Management. We wish him all the best and hope the skills and experience he gained these past months serve him well in the future. “It has been a pleasure to work with Paul and we all sincerely hope that his experiences with Deckel & Moneypenny were engaging and satisfying. Paul was an integral part of our team, helping complete a significant special project over the summer. He is a fast learner, getting up to speed on our operations systems and organizational culture quickly. With his eagerness to learn, he developed various skills while working with us that we hope will benefit him in his future business endeavors. His team working skills and friendly nature made him not only a valuable asset to the Logistics Department but a welcome one as well. He outdid the expected performance and we are happy to have had the opportunity to work with and train such an enthusiastic candidate.“ – Emily Barringer
We have been honored to have Jenny Hsin-Yi Chang as a design intern this year. Although her time with us was just a short summer stint, her contributions and hard work are deeply valued. D&M is glad to have been a part of her education and burgeoning career. #intern #exhibitiondesign “Jenny comes to us from an outstanding group of Exhibition & Experience Design students at the @FashionInstituteofTechnology, but her creative and innovative thinking has put her in a class of her own. It’s been a great relief to have a team member who can execute with little guidance and share inspiring ideas with such extraordinary attention to detail. She has done a fantastic job helping our team reach its goals on new design projects; her passioned approach to storytelling has been pivotal to her success with clients. It’s been a pleasure to work with Jenny and I look forward to following her career. The bar has been set high!” – Reed Sowder
