A/P Responsibilities:

  • Verify and enter vendor invoices, process vendor payments and disburse checks in a timely manner
  • Review and follow up on vendor/supplier statements as applicable
  • Set-up & maintain new vendor/supplier records including W-9 procurement
  • Prepare file for annual 1099 issuance
  • Reconcile company credit cards

A/R Responsibilities:

  • Convert client invoice drafts to final invoices; includes G/L coding and determining taxability for sales tax
  • Input client invoices into client invoice portal as required
  • Process client quarterly storage invoicing
  • Record and prepare bank deposits
  • Maintain Use Tax transactions and process monthly Sales & Use Tax filings

Job Cost Responsibilities:

  • Post vendor invoices and credit card transactions to client work orders
  • Post labor to client work orders
  • Reconcile expense reports
  • Prepare closed work orders, making sure all costs are properly accounted for and deliver to Account Executives for billing

Payroll/HR Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll on bi-weekly basis
  • Make bi-weekly HSA and 401k deposits
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll journals for entry into general ledger
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist Controller with quarterly close/year-end close process
  • Ad-hoc tasks/projects
  • Filing
  • Provide support to other members of management and department as requested
  • Perform clerical, administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Experience:

  • 1-3 years accounting experience in manufacturing, or related field preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • Systems oriented & excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Detail-oriented/sense of urgency/follow-through;
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and work effectively in varying environments.
  • Role is in-person
